Photography Lessons

Hi guys, along with my professional photographer practice, I also teach Photography Lessons. I am based in Toowoomba but happily travel around Queensland and New South Wales for workshops and teaching in school classrooms. I also run online Zoom tutorials.

I also teach online and face-to-face for the University of Southern Queensland – Professional Photography Undergraduate Major at the School of Humanities and Communication.

UniSQ Campus Toowoomba

Camera Basics Course

Whether you’re just starting out or refreshing your knowledge, this course will help you better understand your camera and give you the confidence to take better photos.

Manual Exposure Course

This course aims to help you develop the knowledge and skills to gain the confidence to leave the Auto settings and enhance your photographic skills.

Disability Photography Courses

Courses are taught one-on-one, and a carer is welcome to attend the lesson. You will also receive a full set of printed notes to take home. If you are with the NDIS, you need to be a Self-Managed member so that you can pay for your lesson.

Photo-Editing Techniques

You can choose from the following software options: Adobe Bridge, Lightroom Classic and Photoshop CC.

Regional and Remote Photography Workshops

Over the years, I have run many workshops and loved doing them, particularly for remote cattle stations or community groups in rural areas. Most are run over a long weekend or can extend to a week.

Past clients have included art groups, galleries, schools, TAFE colleges, universities, mining companies, and local photography groups and festivals.
